Electric Motor Controller

In an oil-to-electricity kit, the motor controller plays a crucial role:Motor speed and torque control. The motor controller regulates the speed and torque of the electric motor. It does this by adjusting the voltage and current supplied to the motor windings.

  • The motor controller serves as a key interface between the electric motor and other components of the vehicle’s control system.

  • The battery pack in an electric vehicle typically has a high – voltage output. For example, the battery voltage of many electric vehicles may range from 48V to 800V. However, different components in the vehicle, such as the low – voltage electrical systems (usually 12V or 24V), require a stable and lower voltage supply. The DC-DC converter steps down the high – voltage DC from the battery to a lower, regulated DC voltage (12V in this case). This allows it to supply power to components like lights, infotainment systems, and various sensors that operate on a lower voltage standard.
  • If the original vehicle had a 12V electrical system for accessories and now has a high – voltage battery due to the electrification process, the DC – DC converter ensures that these  12V components can still work properly.

Instrument Cluster / Car Dashboard Display

Instrument cluster, which can indicate converted vehicle speed, battery capacity (SOC), turning signals, Forward&Reverse gear etc.

  • The TYPE A design and shape is not designed specially for one car brand but universal, because if the original meter is small round type, but due to CAN BUS in the controller and battery BMS, the original car meter can only indicate speed of vehicle, can not indicate battery capacity. So you can choose to use a new electric instrument cluster like this type or to use a very simple battery capacity meter only, then you can keep the old Beetle meter to show speed, and this new simple battery capacity meter.
  • Or you can choose TYPE B, a more premium smart meter which combines functions of media& entertainment and speed&battery indicator, except as a normal electric car meter, it also has bluetooth, music and movie player, reverse camera, car play etc.  more details you can consult with our sales person.

In conventional fuel vehicles, the vacuum assisted brake pump uses the vacuum generated by the engine intake manifold to provide power.

In the process of changing from oil to electricity, the vehicle power system is changed from a fuel engine to an electric drive system, but the brake system still needs help to ensure that the driver can easily press the brake pedal. The vacuum assisted brake pump can maintain this assisted function.

Compatible with the original braking system
Oil to electric conversion kits usually want to use as much of the braking system components of the original vehicle as possible. As an important part of the original brake system, the vacuum booster brake pump can be well compatible with brake pipe, brake caliper and other components.

In oil to electricity kits, the motor and gearbox are usually from different design systems. The adapter plate acts as an adaptive interface, allowing the output shaft of the motor to be precisely connected to the input shaft of the gearbox. For example, the diameter and shape of the motor output shaft may not match that of the gear box input shaft, and the transfer disc can ensure that the two are tightly and centrally connected by designing suitable shaft holes and connecting keyways. This is like the need for a conversion joint between pipes of different diameters to achieve seamless docking.

It also compensates for possible axial or radial deviations between the motor and the gearbox. Due to mounting space limitations or manufacturing tolerances, the motor shaft and gearbox shaft may not be aligned exactly in the same straight line. The transfer plate can absorb these deviations through a certain elastic or adjustable structural design, reduce vibration and abnormal wear, and ensure the smoothness of power transmission.

Compared with traditional fuel engines, lithium batteries can provide a quieter and smoother power output for the vehicle. This is because the operation characteristics of the motor are not like the vibration and noise in the combustion and mechanical transmission process of the internal combustion engine, making the driving experience of electric vehicles more comfortable during the driving process.
